Resumen
Esta investigación se llevó a efecto en el sitio Tenguel del Cantón Rocafuerte Provincia de Manabí
ubicado a 80º29`16” de longitud Oeste y 0º49`55” de longitud sur a 8 m.s.n.m en los meses de Octubre 2014 a Enero
del 2015 .
El Objetivo fue evaluar la persistencia del bioinsecticida aplicándolo en cebo y aspersión en diferentes dosis, seleccionar
el mejor tratamiento y Realizar en Análisis Económico de los tratamientos en estudio.
Para evaluar Para evaluar las propiedades y características biocidas del producto se realizaron evaluaciones de
cogollero cada siete días previo a las aplicaciones del bioinsecticida, luego se efectuaron conteos del cogollero a las
24, 48, horas y 7 días para tabular la efectividad y persistencia del mismo. Fueron los tratamientos de biocedro, tanto
en aspersión y aplicación en cebo en dosis de 15 ml / litro de agua y 20 g / kg de arena, respectivamente, fueron los que
ejercieron mejor control del cogollero (Spodopterafrugiperda Smith) en el cultivo del maíz. El tratamiento de 20
ml/kg arena fue el que proporciono la mayor Tasa de retorno ya que por cada dólar invertido se obtienen 19.47
dólares.No obstante, el mejor comportamiento en porcentaje de mortalidad se evidenció, que entre más alta es la
dosificación del biocedro, mayor es el control del cogollero, principalmente en larvas de instares mayores.
