En el Ecuador el tema de la sexualidad ha generado controversia a nivel general, a pesar de que en los establecimientos educativos y en el núcleo familiar se ha tratado el tema de manera superficial desde hace muchos años, nunca como en la actualidad, se le ha dado la importancia que se merece, a pesar de tener criterios tan obsoletos y sin fundamentos; hay quienes si están conscientes de la realidad y proponen ciertos cambios prevalentes Objetivos: Determinar el conocimiento sobre la prevención del embarazo en adolescentes de 12 a 18 años. Escuela – Colegio Centro Escolar Experimental Nº3 9 de octubre.2013-2014.Métodos: Es un estudio descriptivo cualitativo y cuantitativo, La metodología de investigación aplicada en el estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, con diseño de tablas y gráficos estadísticos, a más de la interpretación, con cálculos de valores promedio. Donde tomaremos una muestra constituida por 143 estudiantes que serán seleccionados mediante el método probabilístico. Resultados: El 5% de los encuestados afirma están en embarazo adolescente, mientras que el 95% no está en esta situación, la prevalencia del embarazo adolescente está en el 5% en la Escuela– Colegio Centro Escolar Experimental Nº 3 Nueve de Octubre. Conclusión: Por medio de las capacitaciones los estudiantes conocieron más acerca de su cuidado que deben de tener ante las enfermedades de transmisión sexual, así mismo sobre las consecuencias de que puede traer cada una de estas enfermedades en los estudiantes que sean sexualmente activos de forma irresponsable.
In Ecuador the topic of sexuality has generated controversy overall, although in educational institutions and in the family has dealt with the issue in a superficial manner for many years, never as now, has been given the importance it deserves, despite having so obsolete criteria and without foundation; if there are those who are aware of reality and propose certain changes prevalent. Objectives: Determine knowledge about pregnancy prevention in adolescents 12 to 18 years. School - Centre College Experimental School No. 3 - 9 octubre.2013 -2014.Methods A descriptive qualitative and quantitative study, the research methodology applied in the study is quantitative, with design of tables and statistical graphs, over the interpretation, calculations of average values. Where we take a sample of 143 students will be selected by the probabilistic method. Results: 5% of respondents said they are in teenage pregnancy, while 95 % are not in this situation, the prevalence of teenage pregnancy is at 5% in the School - College School No. 3 Experimental Center Nueve de Octubre. Conclusion: Through the training the students knew more about their care must have with sexually transmitted diseases, also on the consequences that can bring each of these diseases in students who are sexually active irresponsibly.
