This experimental work was conducted in the dry season of 2015, socasugarcanecropof the farm "Lopez" enclosure Carrizal canton Milagro, Guayas province, the objectives were: 1) Define the effectiveness of herbicides Metolaclor and Pendimetalin applied in the control of R. cochinchinensis; 2) evaluate the effect of metolachlor and Pendimethalin on the development and growth of sugarcane; and 3) economic analysis of treatments. As material sugarcane DC range 85-92 was used, at various doses combined herbicide treatments were applied alone and metolachlor and Pendimentalin, the number of treatments was 9 including a mechanical indicator (weeding) variables were evaluated on the toxicity and control the weeds, agronomic crop them that were measured and analyzed through scales and under complete block design czar: It was concluded: A) The greatest effect of toxicity at 7 days on Rottboelliacochinchinensis where treatments Metaclor + pendimethalin (2.00 + 3.00 L / ha), Metaclor + pendimethalin (2.50 + 2.50 L / ha ) and Metaclor + pendimethalin (2.50 + 2.50 L / ha), in the second and third assessments (14 and 21 days after application of herbicide treatments); b) The germination rates were low by applying herbicide treatments compared with mechanical control (weeding) was 100%; c) The height of the weed plant evaluated 90 days after application of the herbicide treatments, I did not exceed 4 cm; d) In general the percentage weed control 70% overshoot in the treatments where herbicides are applied, having the best control at 30, 60 and 90 days when treatment with doses of 2.50 was applied to 3.0 L / ha of pendimethalin; e) The highest yield of sugarcane is achieved with the application of 2.50 and 3.0 L / ha of Pendimentalin, with higher than 120 T / ha values, treatment reached the mechanical indicator reached 98 t / ha and was the lowest-performing; f) The marginal analysis led to the highest rate Marginal Return of treatment spend Metolachlor (2.0 L / ha) to Treatment 3 (Pendimetalin 2.50 L / ha) with a value of 6395% (USD 63.95 ) followed by treatment 4 whose rate was 3420% (USD 34.20). 40
