Resumen
El reconocimiento humano, es un proceso que reúne diversas áreas, como la Medicina, la Odontología, entre otras, el proceso odontológico médico legal, encontramos diversa acciones, para la identificación de víctimas en desastres naturales, en donde cada persona tiene derecho a la identidad ante la sociedad. Esta investigación bibliográfica tiene como objetivo, Identificar a los pacientes a través de la odontología legal. Definir, las características de personas que han sufrido lesiones, Analizar las técnicas para reconocimientos de personas. A través de las estructuras dentales, orientándonos a las lesiones, sobre todo cuando la persona ha sufrido un maltrato o accidente a nivel del Sistema Estomatognatico, entre el reconocimiento clínico legal de las lesiones, vamos a tener, las naturales, incapacidad y secuela estos tipo de lesiones, altera la armonía del rostro y/o la función masticatoria o fonética, por la pérdida o fractura de un diente o más, este factor es unos de los elementos para el reconocimiento de personas, otro factor que, ofrece un excelente registro para identificar del individuo, son los tratamientos odontológicos, sobre todo los materiales de restauración utilizados. Concluyendo que en este campo tiene la ventaja de dedicar mucha parte de su estudio a las estructuras dentales, las cuales tienen una gran resistencia a las temperaturas generadas por el fuego, posicionándolas, como estructuras imprescindibles para realizar una correcta identificación del individuo, se pueden realizar proceso, teniendo en cuenta el tipo de lesiones y tratamiento más común realizado por la odontología que involucra, los recursos humanos y materiales con que cuenta el Grupo de reconocimiento del individuo.

Concluding that in this field has the advantage of devoting much of his study to the structures, which are highly resistant to the temperatures generated by fire, positioning them as indispensable for proper identification of the individual structures, process can be performed on the operational models in these circumstances and to inform the feasibility and efficiency of the analysis of the recognition of people, most used, taking into account the such injuries and most common dental treatment performed by involving the human and material resources available to the group to recognize the individual.
