Resumen
El virus del papiloma humano (HPV) está asociado directamente con la patogénesis del cáncer de cuello uterino, siendo un virus que se transmite por contacto sexual, afectando a la piel y mucosas de áreas genitales, ano, boca. Se proyecta que la noción de la virología y las manifestaciones clínicas del (HPV) componen el eslabón fundamental en el entendimiento del proceso neoplásico. Los estudios epidemiológicos de las lesiones pre malignas del cuello uterino han demostrado una fuerte asociación entre la experiencia sexual y la aparición de tumores malignos. Se revela que las mujeres con múltiples patrones sexuales, embarazos e interrupciones a temprana a edad e historias de infecciones, aumentan el riesgo de padecer la enfermedad, este estudio es de vital importancia no solo por el desconocer la enfermedad que este virus ocasiona sino porque las medidas de prevención son muy pocas. Objetivo: Determinar la seroprevalencia y factores de riesgo de papiloma humano en las mujeres de edad fértil atendidas en el Hospital Civil Santa Teresita del cantón Santa Rosa 2012. Métodos: De diseño No experimental, de tipo transversal, descriptivo y retrospectivo. Resultado mediante encuesta a 93 mujeres en relación al resultado de examen de HPV se obtuvieron de urbano rural 18 (19%) positivas. Profesionales 4 (4%) positivas Según edad, 30 años y más 21 (23%) positivas, Estado civil: Solteras 29 (31%) positivas, Escolaridad: Secundaria 21 (22%) positivas número de parejas sexuales: 1 37 (40%) positivas. The human papillomavirus (HPV) virus is the primary infectious Etiologic Agent associated with the pathogenesis of cervical cancer, HPV is a virus that causes infectious or contagious diseases of sexual transmission, affecting the skin and mucous membranes of genitalia, anus, mouth. Considers that knowledge of Virology and clinical manifestations of this virus are the fundamental link in the understanding of the neoplastic process. Of pre malignant lesions of the cervix epidemiological studies have shown a strong association between sexual practice and the appearance of malignant tumors. Indicated that women with multiple sexual patterns, pregnancies and interruptions at early age and stories of infections, increase the risk of developing the disease, this study is of vital importance not only for not knowing the disease caused by this virus but because prevention measures are very few. Objective: To determine the prevalence and risk factors of human papillomavirus in women of childbearing age at the civil Hospital Santa Teresita of the canton Santa Rosa 2012. Methods: Non-experimental design, type transverse, descriptive and retrospective. Results through survey of 93 women in relation to HPV test result were obtained from urban rural 18 (19%) positive. Professional 4 (4%) positive according to age, 30 years and more 21 (23%) positive, marital status: unmarried 29 (31%) positive, education: secondary 21 (22%) positive sexual partners no.: 1 37 (40%) positive.
