La presente investigación tuvo el objetivo de Caracterizar la Satisfacción Laboral
en el Personal de Enfermería del Sistema Hospitalario Docente de la Universidad
de Guayaquil, trabajando con dos grupos ocupacionales que corresponden a los
Auxiliares y Licenciadas de Enfermería, quienes a pesar de mantener condiciones
laborales muy similares y estrechamente ligadas por pertenecer a un mismo
grupo ocupacional, el control disciplinario se vuelve mucho más estricto con los
Auxiliares de Enfermería; esta problemática vuelve necesario indagar en la
satisfacción laboral como variable que nos ayude a comprender este fenómeno .
Para poder explicar la satisfacción laboral, la presente investigación encuentra
sustento teórico en las Teoría Bifactorial de Herzberg quien explica que los
elementos que influyen en la satisfacción laboral no son los mismos que los
elementos que influyen en la insatisfacción, permitiéndonos dilucidar la situación
actual de la Satisfacción Laboral del Personal de Enfermería frente a las
condiciones existentes en el Sistema Hospitalario Docente de la Universidad de
Guayaquil.
Para la recolección de los datos se aplicaron tres instrumentos de corte
descriptivo a una muestra no probabilística de 168 personas, en donde 128 fueron
Auxiliares y 40 Licenciadas de enfermería.
Los resultados obtenidos a partir de la investigación muestran que el personal de
Enfermería del Sistema Hospitalario Docente de la Universidad de Guayaquil, se
encuentra actualmente satisfechos laboralmente, describiendo a las promociones
y salario actual, como indicadores de los Factores Intrínsecos y Extrínsecos
respectivamente, que deben mejorarse a fin de alcanzar un nivel óptimo de
satisfacción laboral.
This research aimed to characterize the Job Satisfaction Nursing Staff in Hospital System University Teaching Guayaquil, working with two occupational groups corresponding to the Licensed Nursing Assistants and who despite maintaining conditions labor very similar and closely related because they belong to the same occupational group, disciplinary control becomes much more strict with the Nursing assistants; this problem becomes necessary to investigate the job satisfaction as a variable to help us understand this phenomenon. To explain job satisfaction, this research finds theoretical support in the two-factor theory of Herzberg who explains that elements influencing job satisfaction are not the same as elements that influence dissatisfaction, allowing clarifying the situation Current Job Satisfaction of Nursing Personnel against the conditions in the Teaching Hospital System University Guayaquil. To collect data three instruments were applied cutting descriptive to a nonrandom sample of 168 people, where 128 were Licensed assistants and 40 nurses. The results obtained from research show that the personnel Nursing Teaching Hospital System University of Guayaquil, is currently satisfied occupationally, describing promotions and current salary, as indicators of intrinsic and extrinsic factors respectively, to be improved in order to achieve an optimal level of work satisfaction.
