(Monostyla) Gosse, 1851, Lecane pértica Harring & Myers,1926 , Lecane
(Monostyla) ludwigi Eckstein, 1883, Dipleuchlanis propatula propatula, Gosse,
Platyas quadricornis Ehrenberg, 1832 y Euchlanis paramenetra Berzins, 1973.

This study aims to determine the biodiversity of rotifers in the reservoir Chongon, "Lake Park" during the rainy season, from December 2011 - April 2012. The collection of zooplankton samples was by a conical trawl 150 microns pore diameter. The lake was sampled in two areas; area Litoral (a) and limnetica area (b), were carried out analysis of diversity and abundance by area, by the Shannon- Wiener, environmental parameters temperature (T ° C), transparency (cm) were taken, salinity and pH. The results indicated the presence of 6 families of rotifers, 8 genera and 16 species. The littoral zone presented 13 species with a population density of 1,057,500 org / m3 for the highest density. Platyas quadricornis Ehrenberg, 1832 and reduced to: Lecane (Monostyla) hamata Stokes, 1896, Lecana bulla (Monostyla) Gosse, 1851 Lecane pértica Harring & Myers, 1926, Lecane (Monostyla) ludwigi Eckstein, 1883, Dipleuchlanis propatula propatula, Gosse, 1886, while in the limnetic zone with a total of 8 species population density was 18,257 org. / m3 within which was the highest density for Brachionus calyciflorus Pallas, 1766 and reduced to fob Lecane Turner, 1892, Platyas quadricornis Ehrenberg, 1832 and Euchlanis paramenetra Berzins, 1973. The coastal area was the one with a greater diversity of species H '= 3.1418 bits, was also the area with greater equity E = 0.8490Keywords: Diversity, rotifers, Coastal Zone, Zone limnética, Equity.
