Resumen
La condilomatosis genital en embarazo es una de las enfermedades más frecuente transmitidas sexualmente. En la literatura internacional se afirma que durante el embarazo, existe una replicación viral, por lo que favorece al crecimiento de las lesiones perineales en el embarazo avanzado. Datos proporcionados por el Centro de Control de Enfermedades de Transmisión Sexual del área 2 ubicado en la ciudad de Guayaquil, revela que la condilomatosis se encuentra ubicada en quinto lugar de las diez patologías más frecuentes diagnosticadas en el año 2006. Objetivo: Demostrar la incidencia de la condilomatosis genital en embarazo y su pronóstico sobre el parto vaginal. Ambiente: Consulta externa del Hospital Materno Infantil Dra. Matilde Hidalgo de Procel. Método: El presente estudio es de tipo descriptivo, Prospectivo, no experimental. Universo: Conformado por 52 pacientes embarazadas con condilomas. Muestra: Constituida por 52 casos clínicos de embarazadas que presentaron condilomatosis genital. Del análisis de los resultados se concluye que la mayor incidencia de condilomatosis genital en embarazo se presentó en grupo de edades comprendido entre 17 y 19 años con 53,8% de los casos. La edad de inicio de relaciones sexuales fue de 16 a 17 años un 36.5%. Las localizaciones más frecuentes de los condilomas se presentaron en la zona vaginal con un porcentaje de 32%. El 64% de las pacientes no recibieron tratamiento para los condilomas. El 56% de las embarazadas fueron sometidas a cesárea y el 13% de los casos a parto vía vaginal.
The genital condylomata in pregnancy is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases . International literature states that during pregnancy , there is a viral replication , therefore favoring the perineal lesion growth in advanced pregnancy . Data provided by the Center for Disease Control Sexually Transmitted Area 2 located in the city of Guayaquil , reveals that condilomatosis is located in fifth place of the ten most common diseases diagnosed in 2006 . Objective: To demonstrate the incidence of genital condylomata in pregnancy and vaginal delivery forecast . Setting: Outpatient Mother and Child Hospital Procel Dr. Matilde Hidalgo . Method : This study is a descriptive , prospective, non-experimental . Universe : Comprised of 52 pregnant patients with warts . Sample: Composed of 52 clinical cases of pregnant women who had genital condylomata . The analysis of the results it is concluded that the increased incidence of genital condylomata pregnancy occurred in the age group between 17 and 19 years with 53.8 % of cases. The age of first sexual intercourse was 16 to 17 years 36.5% . The most frequent of condylomata occurred in the vaginal area with a percentage of 32 % . The 64 % of patients received no treatment for genital warts . The 56 % of pregnant women underwent cesarean and 13% of cases vaginal delivery .
