The incidence of threatened preterm delivery was 7.07 %. The study determined that a total of 34 patients (40% ) the effect of nifedipine initiated 20 to 40 minutes. The 93 % of patients do not need to repeat the cycle of nifedipine. 92% had a satisfactory response to treatment with nifedipine, resulting in the prolongation of gestation, while the 8% consider them as therapeutic failure for failing pregnancy prolongation, then ended up in preterm labor. There was no adverse effect of nifedipine in 96% proving to be well tolerated. In 95 % of infants there was no complication. Nifedipine is a good option in the treatment of preterm labor, neonatal successful meeting .
