Necesidad de formación de docentes y sistemas de monitoreo académico en la escuela de Ciencias Exactas y Educación en la Universidad Técnica Luis Vargas Torres de Esmeraldas

Resumen
El presente estudio, está orientado a la formación de docentes en el
área de Ciencias Exactas y/a mejorar el perfil de ingreso que tienen
los estudiantes cuando se inscriben a esta unidad académica, ya que
se tiene la problemática de una baja matrícula universitaria en esta
carrera y una baja cantidad de egresados, orientar la educación de
profesores y estudiantes ante esta situación, con la finalidad de
mejorar al rendimiento escolar de los estudiantes. El presente
estudio pretende llamar la atención de los profesores y directivos
sobre la importancia de conocer el perfil de ingreso de los
estudiantes que se inscriben en esta carrera de educación.
El interés por conocer cuál es el perfil de ingreso de los estudiantes
que llegan a las instituciones de educación superior, no es nada
nuevo en el campo de la investigación educativa en general, sin
embargo, en los últimos diez años, en el ámbito académico la
Universidad Luis Vargas Torres, no se han llevado a cabo trabajos o
acciones formales para detectar como es este perfil de ingreso de
los adolescentes si este incide o no en las pocas matrículas o
cantidad de egresados anualmente, podemos mencionar que el otro
factor sería el currículum académico o la comunicación de esta a la
sociedad.
The present study, this guided to the formation of Teachers in the area of Exact Sciences and/or to improve the entrance profile that you/ they have the students when they register to this academic unt, since one has the problem of a drop university student it registers in this specialty and a low quantity of incorporate to guide de performance of professor and students before this situation, winth the purpose of improving to the school yield of the students. The present study seeks to call the attention of the professors and about the importance of knowing the profile of the student’s entrance that you/ they register in this education specialty. The interest to know which is the profile of the students entrance that you / they arrive to the institutions of superior education, is not anything new in the field of the educational investigation in general; however, in the last ten years, in the academic environment the University Luis Vargas Torres, they have not been taken to end works or formal actions to detect like it is this profile of the adolescents ‘entrance if this it impacts or not in the litter one it register or quantity of incorporate annually, we can mention that the other serous factor the academic curriculum or the communication of this to the society.
