Pulpotomy is a pulp therapy that involves the removal of the cameral pulp keeping the root pulp where this will be replaced by a drug that sanitize and secure the remaining pulp without devitalize dental tissue the same which is considered one of the therapies pulpares that more develops in the dental care of a child in order to avoid premature loss of the tooth favoring the proper eruption of permanent piece. Knowing that the formocresol is the drug most commonly used in a pulpotomy but due to studies credited their cariogenic power, they have conducted studies with other drugs that can suppress their use, such as ferric sulfate, MTA, calcium hydroxide, antibiotics. The aim of this work will employ an antibiotic neomycin, polymyxin B and bacitracin, taking advantage of the ability of antibiotics of this medicine eliminating the bacterial load and preserving the root of the tooth pulp. Pulpotomy was performed using the ophthalmic ointment replacing formocresol where it was observed, that this does not irritate close to the tooth soft tissues such as the gums, does not cause adverse reactions and handled appropriately to bring the cavity of the tooth, thus ophthalmic ointment can be used without the fear that is likely to affect the permanent tooth
