Resumen
El propósito de esta investigación es determinar las necesidades de
formación en Educación Ambiental de los estudiantes regulares dela
Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, lo que se plantea ante la
limitada enseñanza en el área que reciben los estudiantes de los
diferentes establecimientos educativos de la ciudad de Guayaquil. Al
respecto, consideramos que su aprendizaje se perfila como un
mecanismo para la generación de grados de concienciación entre sus
beneficiarios; más aún, cuando se maneja el criterio de su
transversalidad, relacionando e integrando sus contenidos con los
programas académicos vigentes. Para la consecución de los objetivos se
recurrirá a la elaboración de una prueba de diagnóstico que permitirá
medir el nivel de conocimientos, actitudes y/o criterios de sus estudiantes
en relación a temas de relevancia en el área ambiental. Esto permitirá
diseñar un móduloinstruccional que contará con el apoyo de material
didáctico interactivo para laoptimización dela enseñanza, aprendizaje y
nivel de conocimientos adquiridos, con la finalidad de generar a mediano
y largo plazo en losfuturos egresados de este centro de Educación
Superior, lo que permitirá un cambio en la percepción de la realidad
socioambiental a nivel mundial y local, en procura de elevar el autoestima
y lograr mejoras continuas a nuestra calidad de vida en beneficio de las
actuales y/o futuras generaciones.
The purpose of this research is to identify the training needs in environmental education for regular students from the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil,which is caused due to the limited education the students from different educational establishments in the city of Guayaquil receive in this area. In this regard, learning is seen as a mechanism for generating awareness among beneficiaries, indeed, when we are involved in the mainstreaming approach, linking and integrating their content with the current academic programs. To achieve the objectives, a diagnostic test will be developed, which let us know the level of knowledge, attitudes and / or criteria of the students in terms of relevant issues in the environmental area. This allows us to design an instructional module which will have the support of interactive learning material for the optimization of the teaching-learning process and the knowledge level, in order to generate well-educated, future graduates from this University in a medium or long term. This will let us have a noticeable change in the perception of global and local socioenvironmental realities, trying to raise the self-esteem and improve our quality of life in benefit of the current and / or future generations.
