Incidencia del trabajo autónomo en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación e Idiomas de la Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena año 2013

Resumen
La educación superior en este milenio deberá enfocarse en los nuevos
modelos pedagógicos, de tendencia constructivistas y reorganizar el
sistema curricular que incide en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje,
el trabajo autónomo se logra, cuando en sus distintas modalidades se
demuestre la autonomía y el adecuado desempeño en la formación de
los estudiantes. Preocupante es para el docente detectar niveles bajos
en el proceso académico por falta de hábitos de estudio, escaso
dominio de estrategias o técnicas para las actividades académicas,
baja motivación entre otras causas que han incidido en las políticas
actuales de exigir mejores resultados y calidad educativa. Sustentada
en un marco teórico constructivista, donde la interrelación social y
autónoma son acciones que convergen en el aprendizaje, se
direcciona la investigación en el método de proyecto factible y de
modalidad bibliográficas , que permiten entender el problema y
estructurar con las teorías científicas para dar solución a este situación
detectada en la Universidad UPSE, importante es proponer el diseño
de una guía de orientación para el trabajo académico autónomo de los
estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación e Idiomas, para
contribuir y estimular la participación directa de los educandos, con la
aplicación de esta herramienta, se puede organizar el tiempo de
estudio, que siga un orden adecuado al elaborar las tareas, utilizar
gráficos, esquemas, rúbricas, portafolio, aumentar sus competencias
en consultas bibliográficas, virtuales, y desarrollar las destrezas para
evaluar el logro obtenido en cada una de ellas. La propuesta aparte de
ser práctica y útil, se beneficiarán un gran número de estudiantes y
actores involucrados en el campo educativo, generando progresos en
la educación y optimizando la labor del trabajo autónomo universitario
Higher education today must focus in the new significant pedagogic models and reorganize the curricular system that affects learning, this supremacy is succeeding when in its different modes demonstrate autonomy and an appropriate performance in students training. It is worrying for teachers to detect low levels in the academic process for the deficiency of study habits, low domain in strategies or techniques in the academic activities, low motivation and other reasons that have affected in present politics of having better results and educational quality. Supporting in a constructivist theoretical frame, where the social and autonomous interrelation are actions that converge learning, the investigation is directed in the achievable and bibliographic project method because it allows to understand the problem and construct with scientific theory to give solution to this situation found in the University UPSE, it is important to propose the design of an orientation guide for the autonomous academic work of the students of the Faculty of Science of Education and Language in order to contribute and encourage their direct participation, with the application of this academic tool, where they can organize the study time, follow an appropriate order and do tasks, use graphics, diagrams, rubrics, portfolio, increase their competencies in bibliographic, virtual, research consultation and establish the skills to evaluate the acquired achievement in each one. The proposal besides its practicality and usefulness will benefit a great number of students and involved actors, generating improvement in education and optimize the autonomous university work
