Resumen
El presente proyecto pretende contribuir con la implementación de un sistema de comunicación como es una emisora radial con servicio a la comunidad y de los estudiantes ya que la Facultad de Comunicación Social actualmente no cuenta con este medio, en nuestra investigación constatamos que tanto docentes especializados en radio como estudiantes con fundamentos en el área de la comunicación radiofónica sienten la necesidad de instaurar este medio para dar al público oyente una innovadora forma de entretener, educar e informar dejando a un lado lo tradicional, por lo cual primero recordaremos la historia de la universidad a la que pertenecemos. La Universidad de Guayaquil, conocida coloquialmente como Universidad Estatal, es una universidad pública localizada en la ciudad de Guayaquil en el Ecuador. Es la universidad más antigua de la ciudad, y también es la que cuenta con mayor población estudiantil. Además tiene seis extensiones universitarias en varias partes del país. La universidad tuvo que pasar un proceso fundacional que inició en 1843 impulsado por las aspiraciones de los habitantes de la ciudad por tener un sitio propio para formar de manera profesional. Es así como en 1867, el Congreso Nacional (ahora Asamblea Nacional), presidido por Pedro Carbo decreta la fundación de la Junta Universitaria del Guayas, que se instala el primero de Diciembre y que tiene el privilegio de otorgar grados y títulos, por lo que se considera ésta la fecha de la fundación de la Universidad de Guayaquil. La primera Facultad en instalarse fue la de Jurisprudencia en 1868.
Actualmente tiene una población estudiantil que bordea los 80.000 estudiantes, siendo por ello, considerada como universidad con mayor alumnado en todo el país. Oficialmente cuenta con 2.719 profesores en calidad de estables, mientras que los catedráticos por contratos llegan a doblar aquella cifra. También cuenta con 1.993 empleados administrativos y de servicios. La universidad está comprendida por 17 facultades que imparten 31 carreras de pregrado, 7 a nivel tecnológico con diferentes especializaciones y 8 carreras cortas, de uno y dos años, cuenta con 6 Extensiones Universitarias en la Costa, y provincia de Galápagos, 14 centros de estudios a distancias, 5 Institutos Superiores de Postgrado, y 18 Institutos de Investigaciones; además cuenta con: laboratorios, talleres, consultorios, bibliotecas, farmacia, librería, comedores estudiantiles; también, grupos artísticos, equipos deportivos y otros servicios a la comunidad. Una de las diecisiete facultades, es la de Comunicación Social; una institución educativa a nivel superior, dedicada a la formación del personal especializado en el proceso de producción, difusión, circulación y consumo de la información y de la comunicación de la sociedad ecuatoriana en el contexto internacional. En 1945 el Congreso Nacional aprueba la creación de las ESCUELAS DE PERIODISMO en Quito y Guayaquil, iniciando su funcionamiento en 1947 con el nombramiento de Director al Dr. Abel Romeo Castillo. Para 1963 gracias a las recomendaciones de la UNESCO Y CIESPAL, adopta el cambio por el de ESCUELA de INFORMACIÓN, posteriormente en 1976 se convierte en ESCUELA DE COMUNICACIÓN SOCIAL adscrita al Rectorado de la Universidad de Guayaquil, hasta que el 4 de noviembre de 1980 realiza cambios en su estructura, planteamientos científicos actualizados, y en su relación metodológica, teórica y técnica orientados a la mejor capacitación del estudiante en su futuro trabajo profesional, conformando la Facultad de Comunicación Social con un Decano Interino el Dr. Abel Romeo Castillo y eligiendo desde 1981 en adelante como Decanos: a la Dra. Cumandá Gamboa de Zelaya, Abg. Alba Chávez de Alvarado, Lcdo. Carlos Alvarado Loor, Lcdo. Galo Cantos López, Lcdo. Julio Camba Pérez y en la actualidad el Lcdo. Héctor Chávez Villao.
This project aims to contribute to the implementation of a communication system such as a radio station with service to the community and students as the Faculty of Social Communication does not currently have this medium in our research we found that both teachers specializing in radio as students with foundations in the area of radio communication feel the need to create this medium to give the public listener an innovative way to entertain, educate and inform apart from the traditional, so first recall the history of the university to which we belong. The University of Guayaquil, known colloquially as State University is a public university located in the city of Guayaquil in Ecuador. It is the oldest university in the city, and is also the one with the largest student population. Also has six university extensions in various parts of the country. The university went through a process that began in 1843 founding driven by the aspirations of the inhabitants of the city to have a proper place to form a professional manner. Thus, in 1867, the National Congress (now the National Assembly), chaired by Pedro Carbo decreed the founding of the University Board of Guayas, installed the first of December and who has the privilege of granting degrees and titles, so this is considered the date of the founding of the University of Guayaquil. The first was installed Faculty of Jurisprudence in 1868. It currently has a student population that borders the 80,000 students, being thus considered as more college students across the country. Officially has 2,719 teachers as stable, while the contract professors get to double that figure. It also has 1,993 employees and administrative services. The university is comprised of 17 faculties which offer 31 undergraduate programs, 7 in terms of technology with different specializations and 8 short races one and two years, has 6 Extension College on the Coast, and Galapagos, 14 study centers distances, 5 Graduate Colleges, Research Institutes and 18, also has laboratories, workshops, offices, library, pharmacy, library, refectory, also, art groups, sports teams and other community services. One of the seventeen faculties, is the Social Communication, a top-level educational institution, dedicated to the training of specialized personnel in the process of production, distribution, circulation and consumption of information and communication society in Ecuador international context. In 1945 Congress approved the creation of journalism schools in Quito and Guayaquil, starting its operation in 1947 with the appointment of Director Dr. Romeo Castillo Abel. By 1963, thanks to the recommendations of UNESCO and CIESPAL adopts the change for the School of Information, later in 1976 became SCHOOL OF SOCIAL COMMUNICATION attached to the Chancellor of the University of Guayaquil, until November 4, 1980 made changes in structure, current scientific approaches, and their relationship methodological, theoretical and technical training geared to the best student in their future professional work, forming the School of Social Communication with Interim Dean Dr. Abel Romeo Castillo and choosing from 1981 onwards as Deans: to Dr. Gamboa Cumandá Zelaya, Abg. Alba Chávez Alvarado, Esq. Carlos Alvarado Loor, Esq. Galo López Cantos, Esq. Perez and Julio Camba currently Esq. Hector Chavez Villao.
