MOTIVACIÓN EN ESTUDIANTES DE LA FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS PSICOLÓGICAS DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE GUAYAQUIL QUE NO ELIGIERON LA CARRERA DE PSICOLOGÍA COMO SU PRIMERA OPCIÓN EN LA POSTULACIÓN DEL SISTEMA NACIONAL DE NIVELACIÓN Y ADMISIÓN

Resumen
Este estudio se realizó en la Facultad de Ciencias Psicológicas de la Universidad de Guayaquil, su objetivo principal fue el de conocer cómo se han desarrollado los procesos motivacionales en los estudiantes que no obtuvieron cupo para la carrera universitaria postulada prioritariamente y aceptaron el cupo en Psicología, bajo el enfoque cualitativo con tipología de teoría fundamentada, se trabajó con un muestreo diverso y teórico de 11 estudiantes, utilizando instrumentos cualitativos como la entrevista y el grupo focal. El análisis de datos fue asistido por el programa computacional ATLAS.ti 8.0. Los resultados de la investigación mostraron que los participantes habían elegido la carrera para la evitar situaciones indeseadas, pero una vez que cursaron los primeros semestres adoptaron metas de logro, metas de poder y metas sociales. A nivel vocacional existen estudiantes que ingresan con orientación definida hacía carrearas para las que no obtuvieron cupo, y otros que empezaron a orientarse a partir de la formación académica. Las competencias es el tercer factor que se desarrolla en la carrera. Finalmente se revela la importancia del rol del profesor y la prácticas pre-profesionales en la motivación los jóvenes objeto de estudio
This study was carried out in the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Guayaquil , its main purpose was to know how motivational processes have been developed in the students did not get quota for the college career postulated as a priority and accepted the quota in Psychology, under the qualitative approach with typology of grounded theory, we worked with a diverse and theoretical sampling of 11 students, with qualitative instruments as the interview and the focus group, the data were analyzed with the assistance of the computer program ATLAS.ti 8.0. The results of the research showed that motivation for the election of the race was avoidance of unwanted situations, when the participants were already in the race changed the type of goal: Goals of achievement, goals of power and social goals. At the level of the vocation there are students who are admitted with vocational orientation toward different careers, and others that began to be oriented in the training. The skills is a third component that develops in the race. Finally rebelled against the importance of the role of the teacher and the pre-professional practices in the motivation
