Influencia de nuevas tendencias metodológicas de los docentes en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes

Resumen
El presente trabajo contribuye a concienciar a la Comunidad Académica, respecto a la importancia e impacto de las Nuevas Tendencias Metodológicas de los docentes en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes de la carrera de Sistemas Multimedia de la Facultad de Filosofía de la Universidad de Guayaquil en el período lectivo 2014 – 2016. La metodología que se aplicó fue el enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo. La investigación se basó en un diseño no experimental, ya que sólo se analizaron las variables como indicadores de rendimiento académico los que se relacionaron con el uso de metodologías interactivas. El tipo de paradigma utilizado fue, interpretativo donde se comprendió e interpreto la información existente durante todo el proceso investigativo. Para lograr tales objetivos, fue menester realizar una exploración de los diferentes recursos metodológicos que se encuentran a disposición de los docentes universitarios y determinar el interés que ellos de notan hacia el llamado paradigma conectivista; así como de campo. Los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación señalan que las metodologías desarrolladas por los profesores tiene un efecto en el Rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de la carrera de Sistemas Multimedia. Sí es importante destacar que la propuesta del diseño de las nuevas tendencias interactivas permitirá desarrollar metodologías innovadoras en el aprendizaje.
The present work contributes to raise awareness among the Academic Community about the importance and impact of the New Teaching Methodological Trends in academic performance for students of the Multimedia Systems career of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Guayaquil in the academic year 2014-2016. The methodology applied was the qualitative and quantitative approach. The research was based on a non-experimental design, since only the variables were analyzed as indicators of academic performance that were related to the use of interactive methodology. The type of paradigm used was, interpretive where the existing information was understood and interpreted during the entire investigative process. To achieve these objectives, it was necessary to carry out an exploration of the different methodological resources that are available to university teachers and to determine their interest in the so-called connectivist paradigm; As well as in the field. The results obtained in this research indicate that the methodologies developed by the teachers have an effect on the Academic Performance of the students of the career of Multimedia Systems. It is important to emphasize that the proposal of the design of the new interactive tendencies will allow to develop innovative methodologies in the learning.
