Medical career and the other careers of the University of Guayaquil, they are currently in the process of renewing its national curriculum to guide to better higher education, to produce graduates who not only achieve objectives, but , to acquire skills necessary for professional development. The idea arises from the need for the University to prepare competitive professionals, this is how the faculties have taken on this challenge, posing challenges to meet and leaving legacies of specificity to Schools, Departments and Subjects. Surgery requires a constant updating and upgrading of teachers and hospitals respectively, because we have to learn and apply modern techniques in solving health problems. This work is based on field study and literature, so we consider it feasible to design and subsequent implementation. They work with a population consisting of Authorities of the Faculty and the School of Medicine, in addition to specialized professional- professors and postgraduate of general Surgery. The importance of this research is to demonstrate the need to learn academically and methodological laparoscopic technique, respecting levels of education, to constitute an affordable and safe surgical option. We propose the design of an experimental surgical training center of Laparoscopic Surgery as a means of strengthening academic of Postgraduate of General Surgery , surgeons and other specialist graduates who did not have the opportunity to learn the technique, we believe that programmed learning and is continuing to acquire vital skills. They are professionals in surgical practice, the surgical resident‟s postgraduates, the Faculty for the prestige it acquired as part of valor and population - the country, the main beneficiaries of our proposal.
