This research aims to determine the consequences of the lack of occlusal rests in niches or partial dentures , as some of the most common problem is causing irreversible damage to the tooth structure and the supporting tissues , such as the sinking of the prosthesis the food impaction , gingival inflammation. A fundamental requirement of a break is to be positive and not allow the device to slide the tooth or leaving the relationship with others as soon greater occlusal pressure is applied . To this end, all the rest must be positive , and they have to produce a position or connection between the device and the tooth that does not allow them to separate as larger forces and masticatory functions are applied A partial denture should be planned from the moment the patient enters our office and requesting close our hand injury, before any treatment , while not relieving the pain. There are numerous options you have at this point, so it is necessary to determine and establish the important favorable and unfavorable factors leading to the success of the prosthesis. For making a partial denture should establish a comprehensive diagnosis in the mouth and treatment planning in detail , using all necessary mechanical aids. A removable partial denture well planned and designed correctly from the beginning can be an entirely satisfactory restoration able to preserve the remaining oral structures and replace the missing dentition , which is achieved with adequate support pillars and harmonious and functional occlusion.
