Resumen
La presente tesis tiene el propósito de diseñar un plan de capacitación orientado a la formación de agentes de cuidado, con entrenamiento para atender el déficit de
autocuidado existente en las personas con discapacidad, que permitirá mejorar la
calidad de vida de las personas con discapacidad, reduciendo la vulnerabilidad de
este grupo humano. Afrontando el problema de la discapacidad en la población ecuatoriana, sobresaliendo el rescate de la dignidad de nuestros conciudadanos que adolecen de discapacidad, quienes tienen todo el derecho de ser atendidos, respetados, escuchados y tratados en igualdad de condiciones que los demás y concebir a la discapacidad no como incapacidad sino como diversidad. La
investigación se fundamenta en un diagnóstico de enfermería, que para Dorothea
Orem, esto implica la investigación y el cúmulo de factores que inciden sobre la
capacidad de autocuidado del paciente, sus demandas de autocuidado y la naturaleza de la relación entre ambas. Es un proceso científico, sistemático, lógico y objetivo siendo beneficiarios de la propuesta las personas con discapacidad que acuden al subcentro de salud Justicia Social del área No. 9 ubicado en el barrio Mapasingue de la ciudad de Guayaquil, porque contarían con agentes de cuidados capacitados para ayudarlos a mejorar su condición de vida, así como los cuidadores permanentes que contarían con los elementos conceptuales, metodológicos y normativos para implementar los cuidados adecuados a las personas con discapacidad bajo su responsabilidad, convirtiéndose así en un agente de cuidado, constituyendo también una oportunidad para la formalización de empleo en este campo. Por otra parte constituye además una forma de mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas con discapacidad puesto que ello se vincula mucho con la calidad de los cuidados que reciben.
This thesis aims to design a training plan aimed at training of care workers with training to meet the existing self-care deficit in people with disabilities, which will improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, reducing the vulnerability of this group of people. Facing the problem of disability in the Ecuadorian population, highlighting the rescue of the dignity of our fellow citizens who suffer from disabilities, who have every right to be cared for, respected, listened to and treated on an equal basis with others and conceive of not as a disability but disability as diversity. The research is based on a nursing diagnosis that Dorothea Orem, this involves research and the accumulation of factors that affect the patient's self-care abilities, self-care demands and the nature of the relationship between the two. It is a scientific process, systematic, logical and objective of the proposal being beneficiaries disabled people who come to the health sub-center Social Justice Area No. 9 Mapasingue located in the neighborhood of the city of Guayaquil, because agents would benefit from skilled care to help them improve their living conditions, as well as permanent caregivers would benefit from the conceptual, methodological and policy to implement appropriate care to people with disabilities under its responsibility, becoming an agent of care, being also an opportunity to rmalize employment in this field. On the other hand is also a way to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities since this relates a lot to the quality of care they receive.
