Juan Tanca Marengo”, Guayaquil-Ecuador.
Prostate cancer is the second in frequency worldwide and in Ecuador its incidence and mortality rates are considerably higher. The most frequent histological type is adenocarcinoma of acinar cells. To carry out the diagnosis, routine check-ups are performed, which in addition to the physical examination includes immunological and histopathological tests. The frequency of prostate cancer was detected as of the sixth age of PSA levels in patients with prostate cancer (n = 136). The PSA and Gleason Degrees are concluded that the level of PSA is not a determining factor for the minor or the highest Gleason Grade, It is an examination of its incidence, the embargo and the stories of the variables. analytical, correlational and transversal study carried out in the ION SOLCA Hospital "Dr. Juan Tanca Marengo", Guayaquil-Ecuador.
