Resumen
En el presente estudio se busca distinguir relaciones entre consumo y endeudamiento, determinar factores que inciden en las personas para endeudarse, analizar el comportamiento del consumidor y del sistema financiero nacional.
Para ello es necesario establecer que la causa del endeudamiento no está bien definida, sin embargo, existen planteamientos que definen características propias del por qué las personas adoptan esta conducta dirigida al endeudamiento. Además también influye el sistema financiero, el cual facilita la obtención de las tarjetas de crédito sin analizar estrictamente la situación económica actual del cliente.
El problema no es adquirir una deuda, sino comprometer más del 50% del ingreso a cancelar consumos con tarjetas de crédito, cuando las mismas deberían ser utilizadas para hacer frente a cualquier imprevisto, y no para adquirir bienes que podrían pagarse en efectivo.
En fin, esta investigación mostrará como se relaciona el consumo en la economía ecuatoriana, ya que estamos frente a una sociedad consumista, que muchos se endeudan más allá de lo que deberían.
The present study seeks to distinguish relationships between consumption and indebtedness, determine factors that affect people to get into debt, analyze the behavior of the consumer and the national financial system. For this it is necessary to establish that the cause of indebtedness is not well defined, however, there are approaches that define characteristics of why people adopt this behavior directed to indebtedness. In addition, the financial system also influences, which facilitates obtaining credit cards without strictly analyzing the client's current economic situation. The problem is not to acquire a debt, but to commit more than 50% of the income to cancel consumption with credit cards, when they should be used to deal with any unforeseen event, and not to acquire goods that could be paid in cash. In short, this research will show how consumption is related to the Ecuadorian economy, since we are facing a consumer society, that many are indebted beyond what they should
