La calidad de los servicios de salud en el Hospital Gustavo Domínguez fortalecido con un manual de calidad

Resumen
Antecedentes: La atención en salud relacionada con la Calidad ha evolucionado, la OMS propone estrategias eficaces que aseguren la calidad de las atenciones, a partir del año 2012 en el Ecuador se presenta el desafío de mejorar la gestión de la calidad al interior de los hospitales incorporando herramientas administrativas estratégicas. El objetivo de este estudio es elaborar un Manual de Calidad del Proceso Asistencial basado en norma ISO 9001:2008, que se ajuste a las políticas nacionales y sirva como herramienta integradora de procesos.
Metodología y Resultados: A través estudio de caso realizado en el servicio Asistencial del Hospital Dr. Gustavo Domínguez Zambrano, en el que se analizó que variables administrativas, sociales, económicas, laborales, demográficas, incidían en la atención asistencial, como requisito previo a la elaboración de un Manual de Calidad Asistencial basado en Norma ISO 9001:2008. La matriz de riesgo EFE (2,95) y EFI (2,53) demostraron que a pesar de las vicisitudes se cuenta con los recursos necesarios para el fortalecimiento de la administración estratégica asistencial, y la compatibilidad en los procesos con los requisitos mínimos de la norma ISO 9001:2008 (70,9%) son los adecuados.
Conclusiones: Son varios los factores que incidieron en la calidad de la atención asistencial dentro del Hospital Dr. Gustavo Domínguez Zambrano, sin embrago con estrategias administrativas basadas en el estudio metodológico de las variables modificables, se pudo construir una herramienta gerencial integradora, coherente que servirá de apoyo a toda la organización.
Background: Health care related to quality has evolved, the World Health Organization proposes effective strategies to ensure quality of care; from the year 2012 in Ecuador has been presented the challenge of improving the quality inside of hospitals incorporating strategic administrative tools. The aim of this study is to develop a quality manual care based on ISO. 9001:2008, which conforms national policies and serve as an integrating tool processes. Methodology and Results: Through this study case in healthcare service of the hospital “Dr. Gustavo Dominguez Z.” in which was analyzed the administrative, social, economic, labor, demographic variables affect healthcare service as a prerequisite to the manual of quality preparation based on ISO 9001:2008. Risk matrix EFE (2, 95) and EFI (2, 53) showed that are adequate despite the vicissitudes the necessary resources are available to strengthen strategic management of healthcare and compatibility in the process with the minimum requirements of ISO 900:2008 (70, 85). Conclusions: Several factors affected the quality health care of hospital “Dr. Gustavo Dominguez Z.” However, with management strategies in the methodological study of modifiable variables, could build a coherent management tool will support the complete organization.
