Complicaciones durante el parto y cesárea en madres consumidoras de sustancias psicoactivas en el período 2018 en el Hospital General Guasmo

Resumen
Las sustancias psicoactivas o drogas están catalogadas como un problema de
salud pública, y las mismas son consumidas por la población en general. Durante
los últimos años se ha evidenciado un incremento de mujeres en estado de
gestación las cuales acuden a los servicios de salud refiriendo como antecedente
el consumo de estupefacientes, muchas de ellas son de escasos recursos
económicos y un nivel de escolaridad bajo. Objetivo: Determinar las complicaciones
durante el parto y cesárea que con mayor frecuencia presentan las mujeres
consumidoras de sustancias psicoactivas atendidas en el Hospital General Guasmo
Sur durante el periodo 2018. Tipo de investigación: este estudio es de tipo
descriptivo, retrospectivo no experimental de enfoque cualitativo. Resultados: El
número total de pacientes incluido en este estudio fue de 110, con base en esto, la
complicación más frecuente durante el parto y cesárea con 22.7% fue el trabajo de
parto prolongado, seguido de ruptura prematura de membrana con un 13.6%, y
parto prematuro con un 12.7%, pero también llama la atención que el 45.5% de las
embarazadas no presentó ninguna complicación.
Psychoactive substances or drugs are cataloged as a public health problem, and they are consumed by the general population. In recent years there has been an increase in pregnant women who go to the health services referring to the consumption of narcotics, many of them are of limited economic resources and a low level of schooling. Objective: To determine the complications that most frequently present women consuming psychoactive substances treated at the Guasmo Sur General Hospital during the 2018 period. Type of research: this study is a descriptive, retrospective non-experimental qualitative approach. Results: The total number of patients included in this study was 110, based on this, the most frequent complication during labor and cesarean section with 22.7% was prolonged labor, followed by premature rupture of the membrane with 13.6%, and premature delivery with 12.7%, but it is also striking that 45.5% of pregnant women did not present any complications.
