Calibración de conos de gutapercha de la serie 15-40 de las marcas gapadent, becht, dochem, hygenic

Resumen
Este trabajo de investigación se llevó a cabo para conocer la calidad del material utilizado en el área de endodoncia de acuerdo con lo que hay en el mercado, se eligieron cuatro marcas de conos de gutapercha donde se desarrolló el análisis del calibre de los mismos, de acuerdo con a las características requeridas por el estándar, con el objetivo de determinar la calibración de los conos de gutapercha de la serie 15-40 en las marcas Gapadent, Becht, Dochem, Hygenic según ISO 6877: 2006. La metodología que se utilizó fue cualitativa y descriptiva, donde se evaluó el calibre de los conos seleccionados para la muestra, entre ellos se eligieron 100 conos de gutapercha de cada una de las marcas revisadas en este trabajo, de la primera serie, que oscilaron entre calibre 20 y calibre 40, que se formaron a Un total de 400 conos analizados en esta investigación, se utilizó como instrumentos, la regla de calibración y la lupa a 20x para evaluar con mayor precisión el proceso. Según el estudio, los resultados de las diferentes marcas seleccionadas mostraron que con mayor frecuencia cumplieron tanto Hygenic con 33% como Becht con 29%, según lo establecido en el estándar en términos de calibre. Después de completar esta investigación, el autor concluye que solo el 26% de todos los conos estudiados cumplen con la norma ISO 6877: 2006, se recomienda que para una mejor adaptación del cono principal al conducto radicular se realice la medición de calibre de los conos para evitar complicaciones relacionadas con la filtración en procesos endodónticos, así como el uso de conos de gutapercha de las marcas Becht e Hygenic.
