Resumen
La Psicoprofilaxis Obstétrica es el conjunto de actividades orientadas a brindar una preparación integral (teórica, física y psicológica) a la gestante para lograr un embarazo, parto y postparto sin temor y disminuir sus complicaciones y así contribuir a la disminución de la morbimortalidad materno perinatal. La falta de conocimiento y de práctica de la Psicoprofilaxis Obstétrica ha provocado que las mujeres gestantes a término desconozcan sus beneficios teniendo miedo de experimentar un parto natural y vean a este como un proceso patológico. OBJETIVO: Determinar los beneficios de la psicoprofilaxis obstétrica en gestantes a término (en el Hospital Gineco Obstétrico Enrique C. Sotomayor durante el periodo de Mayo del 2014 hasta Abril 2015). METODOLOGIA: Este proyecto es un estudio descriptivo, analítico, prospectivo y no experimental, porque describió los beneficios de la psicoprofilaxis obstétricas aplicadas a mujeres con embarazo a término, asistidas por los obstetras y Doulas de la institución, desde el 5 de mayo del 2014 al 30 de abril del 2015. RESULTADOS: De un universo de 200 pacientes se tomó una muestra de 80 de las cuales con la ayuda de los ejercicios de psicoprofilaxis el 61% aseguró controlar el dolor moderadamente, mientras que en un porcentaje de 28% logro controlarlo totalmente, 38% de las pacientes prefirieron realizar balance pélvico con balón asegurando sentirse más relajadas y con más capacidad para controlar el dolor , un 69% de las pacientes aseguró que la compañía de las Doulas les sirvió de apoyo emocional el Apgar del Recién Nacido en el grupo de gestantes a término que realizaron psicoprofilaxis obstétrica fue de 8 al minuto con un porcentaje de 53% y de 9 al minuto en un 25% lo cual refleja un buen resultado neonatal.
The Psicoprofilaxis Obstetrics is the set of activities to provide comprehensive preparation (theoretical, physical and psychological) to pregnant women to achieve pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum without fear and reduce its complications and thus contribute to the reduction of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality activities. Lack of knowledge and practice of Obstetrics Psicoprofilaxis has caused pregnant women to term unaware of their benefits fearing a natural birth experience and see this as a pathological process, where the main factor is the pain and despair. OBJECTIVE: To determine the benefits of obstetrical psycho in pregnant women at term (in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital Enrique C. Sotomayor during the period May 2014 to April 2015). METHODOLOGY: This project is a descriptive, analytical, prospective and non-experimental study, described as the benefits of obstetrical psycho applied to women with term pregnancy, assisted by obstetricians and Doulas of the institution, from the May 5, 2014 to April 30, 2015.
