It can occur in people with weakened immune systems and those with a healthy immune system. Objective: To determine by indirect observation Systemic histoplasmosis in HIV diagnosis and patients at the Hospital of Infectious Diseases Dr. Jose Daniel Rodriguez Maridueña, between the period of November 2012 to December 2014. To provide information to the institution. Methodology: This is a type of observational, descriptive, retrospective study, conducted at the Infectious Diseases Hospital Dr. Jose Daniel Rodriguez Maridueña, which included patients with systemic Histoplasmosis HIV positive since November 12, 2012 until December 31, 2014. Statistical analysis: The study was conducted using information on the medical records of hospitalized patients during the study period, the same that will be tabulated on Excel charts, graphs, be developed for each of the variables under study, and the combination between them, for analysis and interpretation Results: Symptoms present with higher incidence in patients with HIV-positive systemic histoplasmosis they were fever (26%), cough (16%), abdominal pain (12%) and diarrhea (16%). In the laboratory results and images higher incidence was evident in hematological disorders with 97 % of patients (33) and examination with lower incidence was increased nitrogenous with 29 % of patients (10).
