Resumen
Es la complicación médica grave más frecuente durante la gestación, su incidencia varía en función de la prevalencia de la bacteriuria asintomática y de que esta se haya tratado o no. entre las causas predisponentes hay modificaciones que sufren el aparato urinario durante la gestación.
El desarrollo de la pielonefritis parece ser influido por la virulencia de la bacteria colonizadora de la orina, generalmente la (E. Coli) se ha atribuido a la capacidad para adherirse a los receptores de las membranas celulares de los epitelios de las vías urinarias. De un total de 480 pacientes atendidas en el área de emergencia en el periodo de noviembre del 2013 a abril 2014 en el área de gineco obstetricia.
Por lo que se puede analizar que las pielonefritis encontrada fueron 10 encontradas en el periodo expuesto.
Con respecto a los resultados expuestos el incremento se dio en pacientes de etnia mestiza en un 70% y edad de 15 a 20 años en un 60% demostrando que no existe incidencia de rotura de membranas.

It was a prospective, descriptive , analytical and non-experimental study was conducted through direct observation , through interview with the help of laboratory results in order to receive treatment. From a total of 480 patients treated in the emergency area in the period November 2013 to April 2014 in the area of obstetricsgynecology . As can analyze pyelonephritis found that 10 were found in the exposed period . With respect to the results presented the increase occurred in patients of mixed ethnicity , and 70% age 15 to 20 years by 60 %, demonstrating that there is no incidence of rupture of membranes.
