The research focuses on the need to determine an effective treatment for the care of the cattle of the Caluma canton in the Bolívar Province due to the disagreement of the cattlemen. The objective is to identify the synergism or antagonism of the use of abamectin and ivermectin in different concentrations and their use separately, in the control of the Dermatobia hominis parasite. For this, the abamectin treatment was evaluated, which with the treatment of half a dose of 0.25 applied to group 4, does not exert any result on the mortality of the larvae, on the contrary after 30 days there was growth. On the other hand, abamectin administered at 0.50 in group 7, exerts an effectiveness of 85% mortality rate of the larvae. On the evaluation of the 1% ivermectin treatments, it shows a decrease of 227 larvae at the end of the study and has a mortality efficiency of 84.38%, which is a favorable result for the group. With respect to the 4% dose, and its efficacy is 89.88%, presenting a decrease of 160 larvae at the end of the study. Regarding ivermectin 1% plus abamectin 0.50 and group 9 that received ivermectin 4% plus abamectin 0.50 has a mortality rate of 100% of the parasites, therefore the level of efficacy obtained allows to conclude that the combined doses are recommended
