humano-mobiliario-espacio.
The subject of this research presents the furniture as space optimizer: anthropometry and multifunctionality, in housing solutions in the socio-housing project, being this housing plan intended for families of up to 5 people, where they must fulfill their daily activities within a space of approximately 37m2 of construction, making use of commercial furniture that are manufactured under standardized measures and designs and are not suitable for homes of reduced dimensions. This does not provide a dignified and comfortable lifestyle as indicated in Objective 1 of the National Development Plan - A Lifetime. The main objective of the research is to optimize the interior spaces through anthropometric analysis and improve the functionality of the houses of the Socio Vivienda housing plan through interior design and multifunctional furniture design. This seeks to mitigate the feeling of overcrowding caused by living in very small spaces. A research methodology with a qualitative and quantitative approach was used. In order to obtain these data, documentary compilation techniques, data collection, field research, surveys and interviews were used. According to the analysis carried out, it is concluded that a human-furniture-space relationship is of vital importance.
