The needs of the 25 poultry farmers in the Parroquia Virgen de Fátima in the Canton of Yaguachi are to improve the process of raising the animals, because their poultry farming techniques transmitted from generation to generation and the fear of technological innovation cause many losses in their production because the chickens are less developed, leading to lower productivity. The present work aims to design a prototype of an intelligent poultry house. To carry out the research and development, three types of method were used: the bibliographic, experimental and quantitative method. The bibliographic method was used to investigate the theoretical basis for the project, and the experimental method was used to translate the practical concepts into the development of the prototype. And finally, the qualitative method was used to conduct the interview. Through the interview conducted, some of the characteristics considered for the design and to determine the feasibility were obtained. The result to be obtained from this project is to reduce the mortality rate of birds since it will have temperature control and gas sensor when detecting a contaminating and hot environment. The ventilation part will be turned on since it will have an adequate environment inside the house. an automation proposal that, fulfilling the norms established by the control organism, contributing to optimize the use of resources of the house. it was concluded that, with the adequate use of each resource, it was determined that through the system the mortality rate of birds will be reduced.
