The main objective of the work carried out in this thesis is to improve the corrugated cardboard sample making processes, which will serve as solution to various types of problems that arise within the Department of Packaging Engineering, and that become more acute at the time of making samples die specials, thus originating, loss of greater participation in the national and international market. Taking into account all these shortcomings considered of great impact for the company, the necessary study was carried out to being able to propose several solutions, the same ones that are aimed at improving the sample making processes. To achieve this goal, it has been very important to have as tool to modern technology, which allows to acquire a considerable Efficiency in delivery of fast information and delivery of samples, with a single purpose which is to satisfy the needs of customers at the time they need it. requires, another of the advantages that will be acquiring, is that of obtaining a greater participation in diverse agricultural and industrial sectors of Ecuador, since that this service will be focused on providing packaging to very demanding markets and varied, from Ecuador and the world, thus consolidating the presence and company leadership. Receive and send information electronically, in together with the vendors, it will be one of the quick access ways for provide important data for clients, and be able to reach the closing of a negotiation, through quotes and samples of corrugated cardboard boxes, the which will allow the vendors of this company to visit a wide sector of the market. The investment to be made for this acquisition of Technology for improvement and modernization of the Packaging Engineering Department will be of USD 76,000.00 whose investment will be recovered in 28 months, considering that the incidence that the Department of Engineering has vs. the Department of Production is 1.55%, and that its Cost Benefit ratio is USD 1.93, which indicates that for every dollar that the Company invests, it will earn USD 1.93.
