Resumen
Las prácticas técnicas preprofesionales, son el conjunto de actividades
realizadas por un practicante que se encuentra trabajando de forma
temporal en algún lugar, poniendo especial atención al proceso de
aprendizaje y entrenamiento laboral en búsqueda de la adquisición de
habilidades útiles para desarrollar una carrera técnica, estas prácticas
proveen oportunidades a los estudiantes, puesto que les permiten ganar
experiencia en el ámbito profesional, crear una red de contactos y a la
vez, cumplir con las normativas contempladas en la Ley de Educación
Superior vigente, relacionadas con los requisitos previo a la obtención del
título de tercer nivel. Los empresarios también se beneficiarán con este
proceso, al contar con talento humano especializado, con conocimientos
actualizados y con ganas de insertarse eficientemente en el mundo
empresarial, consecuencia de ello, se reducirán los costos de
reclutamiento y selección de personal, porque durante el transcurso de las
prácticas el empresario podrá evaluar y calificar el desempeño laboral del
estudiante; los estudiantes de la Carrera de Comercio Exterior tienen
potencialidades en el área técnica, debido a que en el proceso de
aprendizaje efectuado durante su vida estudiantil, estudian asignaturas de
formación profesional, por eso están preparados para desarrollar sus
habilidades en el campo laboral, pero actualmente en la carrera, no existe
un proceso vinculante con las empresas, de ahí la importancia de la
propuesta planteada, ya que con el rediseño de este departamento se
cumplirán todos los pasos operativos involucrados en esta gestión, que
comprende la Planificación, Organización, ejecución, monitoreo y
evaluación de las prácticas preprofesionales. La práctica que realizan los
estudiantes es parte de su proceso formativo y durante este periodo
deberán asimilar experiencias del campo profesional, las cuales no se
reciben en el proceso educativo de formación; es aquí donde el
practicante pone en ejercicio, contenidos conceptuales, procedimentales y
actitudinales adquiridos durante sus estudios.
