The present research was conducted in the Parish Victoria Canton saltpeter in the hda. The mine where we tested the feasibility of 4 seed densities of two varieties of grasses Pasto Janeiro (Eryochloa polistachya) and Pasto Dulce (Brachiaria humidicola) in the parish the Victory Canton Salitre, where after having done the work of respective field produced the following results. The Grass de Janeiro (Eryochloa polistachya) had a behavior higher than the grass Brachiaria in regard to yield 3,125 Kg/ha, as well as the adaptability to the environment, it is important to stress that this is the grass that is mostly distributed in the Ecuadorian coast, flood-prone areas of the provinces of Guayas and the rivers. The Grass Brachiaria humidicola, so I can't stand waterlogging during a long time, which he is not a fit for the flood-prone areas of the lower basin of the Guayas river, in addition during the field trial presented many problems in the establishment, possibly to the type of soil present where the test was established which corresponds to a clay loam texture, since this grass prefers a loamy texture For different spacings were used in this work the distance gave the best results for grass Janeiro was 40 cm x 80 cm in terms of performance, however is worth noting that the control plot 29 850 kg / ha / interesting results regarding the establishment of pasture in this area, the plant material it distributes broadcast, then the farmer is going stepping which is achieved bury, is a very practical method used to save time and wages. For the farmer the Ecuadorian Coast is vital to find new alternatives grasses and enhance existing applications that it depends on the productivity of any cattle herd,
