Detección del estreptococo beta hemolítico para el diagnóstico precoz de la fiebre reumática

Resumen
Siendo el SBH-A un agente etiológico causante de infecciones humanas y que es transmitido de persona a persona por las vías respiratorias, se realizó un estudio bacteriológico descriptivo en niños de las Fundaciones “Es justo y Necesario” y Crecer” de la ciudad de Guayaquil, siendo el Universo de la investigación formado por 115 niños de edades comprendidas entre 9 –16 años.
En los resultados obtenidos encontramos que el 9.6% de la muestra ha desarrollado la bacteria del Estreptococo Beta Hemolítico del grupo A. También se verificó que de los 11 casos positivos existe una mayor frecuencia en las niñas que asisten a la escuela y que su lugar de vivienda está en la zona urbana.
En base a estos datos sería recomendable evaluar a otros grupos de niños que se encuentren en similares condiciones y seguir de cerca el curso de las infecciones recurrentes en los ya evaluados para dar tratamientos adecuados y oportunos logrando así prevenir una serie de complicaciones principalmente de la Fiebre Reumática.
Being the SBH-A an ethologic agent that caused humans infections and which is transmitted person to person by the breathe ways, a descriptive bacteriologic study was done in children of the “Es Justo y Necesario” and “CRECER” foundations from Guayaquil city, being the investigator universe formed by 115 children with ages between 9 and 16 years old. In results obtained, I was found that the 9.6% of the sample has developed the Hemolytic Beta Streptococcus bacteria from the A group. Also was verified that from 11 positives cases, exists a higher frequency in girls that assist to school and that their living places are in the urban zone. In addition to this data would be recommendable to evaluate another groups of children that are found in similar conditions and follow closely the course of the recurrent infections in the evaluated (children) to give attention and accomplishing the prevention of a series of complications, principally the Rheumatic Fever.
