Resumen
El trabajo de investigación se realizó en el 2015, en la Granja experimental de la Facultad
de Ciencias Agrarias, ubicada en el km 48 vía Durán –Tambo, El Triunfo, Provincia del
Guayas
Los objetivos del presente trabajo fueron: a) Determinar el rendimiento y comportamiento
agronómico de dos hibrido de maíz con tres aplicaciones de Boro. b) Seleccionar la mejor
combinación entre los tratamientos evaluados. Realizar un análisis económico de los
tratamientos.
Se probaron dos hibridos de maiz, se utilizó el producto Basfoliar Boro SL se empleó una
dosis de 300cc con una bomba de 20 litros de agua. Se evaluaron nueve variables
agronómicas y se realizó el análisis económico de costos variables para los tratamientos.
Se concluye que a) Los híbridos DASS 3383 y TROPIC 102 reaccionaron de igual
manera en cuanto las variables agronómicas evaluadas y en sus distintas interacciones, b)
El híbrido DASS 3383 (H1-A3) obtuvo mayor altura de planta, c) El híbrido DASS 3383 (H1-
A2) tuvo un mayor diámetro del tallo, d) El híbrido DASS 3383 (H1-A3) tuvo un mayor
diámetro de mazorca con las tres aplicaciones del producto Basfoliar Boro SL.
Se recomienda a) sembrar en el cantón El Triunfo el Hibrido Tropic 102 con aplicaciones
de Boro a los 10, 35,55 dias. b) Se recomienda sembrar para conocer dosis efectivas y
probar distintos números de aplicaciones. c)realizar otros ensayos para probar distintas
fuentes del elemento Boro y en distintas épocas de aplicación con los mismos híbridos
estudiados en esta investigación, d)Se recomienda el uso del producto Basfoliar Boro SL
con tres aplicaciones y en las distintas épocas estudiadas en las condiciones del presente
ensayo para obtener los rendimientos obtenidos como resultado de este estudio

We conclude that a) The DASS 3383 and TROPIC 102 hybrids reacted in the same way as the agronomic variables and their various interactions, b) Hybrid DASS 3383 (H1-A3) obtained greater plant height, c) The hybrid DASS 3383 (H1-A2) had a larger diameter of the stem, d) the hybrid DASS 3383 (H1-A3) had a larger diameter of the ear with the three product applications Basfoliar Boro SL. It is recommended a) plant in the village of El Triunfo 102 Tropic hybrid applications Boro at 10, 35,55 days. b) It is recommended to plant to meet effective doses and try different numbers of applications. c) Further trials to test different sources of boron element at different times of the same hybrid application studied in this research, d) using the product Basfoliar Boro SL is recommended with three applications at different times and under the conditions studied of this test for the yields obtained as a result of this study. 30
