This study was conducted in the rainy season of 2016 in the Complex "Los Monos", located in the southern part of Canton Milagro, Guayas province, with an average height of 15 msnm and clay loam soils. The geographical location of this practice presents the following UTM coordinates: South latitude: 2º 18′ 36,1′′, West longitude: 79º 60′ 18,7′′ as well as the following objectives: a) To determine the effect of two silicium sources through a foliar application to the agronomic performance in corn cultivation; b) Determine the best treatment and better profitability; c) Conduct an economic analysis of the treatments in relation to the production costs and profits. The research was conducted with two silicium sources (Monosilísico acid Siklon 35%) and (Monosilísico Acid Zumsil 22%) and four dosages of silicium were studied with 100, 150, 200 and 250 cc / ha, whose combinations resulted in eight treatments, in comparison to an absolute witness. For the evaluation of this work, we used a complete randomized block design (DBCA) 2 x 4 plus a factorial arrangement, with four repetitions. A multiple range test was used, Tukey with 5% of probability. The factors studied were: Sources of silicium with different application doses, of which six variables were studied. In conclusion: a) In the factor silicium sources, its variables showed high significance b) In the dose of fertilizer factor the best dose was 200 cc/ha, statistically outperforming other doses in all the variables studied, c) performance Monosilísico acid Zumsil 22% at a dose of 200 cc / ha had the highest value of this variable, d) in the economic analysis of partial budgets, the best marginal return rate presented her treatment
