This qualitative research based on the complexity paradigm describes the interdisciplinary professional actions in the public and private sectors in regards of sexual victims and aggressors in Guayaquil city, during covid-19 confinement march-june 2020. An exploratory-descriptive scope is used due to the lack of previous studies on professional work about sexual violence during this period: it is cross-sectional since it is located in a specific time. To obtain the necessary information, specialized experts from different professions dealing with this problem were interviewed, and using the atlas.ti qualitative analysis program, coding and semantic networks of the discourse were established. The results indicate that the influences of social constructs generate biases in the conceptualization of sexual violence that condition and limit professional action, in addition to the adaptation of the new work methodology due to quarantine. The lack and need for a systemic approach to deal with these cases are highlighted.
