Resumen
Este trabajo de investigación surge con la intención de identificar si existe incidencia en el
desarrollo de las funciones ejecutivas en niños debido al uso inadecuado de Dispositivos Electrónicos
(DE). Desde el punto de vista social, el uso de dispositivos electrónicos constituye un avance en las relaciones
interpersonales, sin embargo, todavía hay una voz que contrasta esta noción, que describe su uso
uso excesivo como perjudicial. Por esta razón, decidimos investigar en el cantón Atacames, donde no existen
no existen estudios previos sobre este tema. Nuestros objetivos son conocer cómo se relacionan y cuáles son los
patrones temporales de uso de dispositivos electrónicos. Esto fue posible con la aplicación de instrumentos
que nos permitieron demostrar que el uso de DE se asocia a un retraso en el desarrollo de las
funciones cognitivas y ejecutivas en los niños
