Resumen
La cirugía bucal como ciencia, estudia las diferentes maneras y abordajes que el operador tiene al momento de realizar una exodoncia, depende del operador y sus tácticas y técnicas que planee aplicar en cada paciente, esto por lo general varía según edad, según el sexo y temperamento del paciente, en este caso clínico, el paciente es femenino de 49 años de edad, la cual presento mucho interés en mejor su salud bucal manifestando sus molestias y malas experiencias, las técnicas descritas en literaturas publicadas son mucha ayuda al momento de intervenir al paciente, el manejo preoperatorio es de vital importancia como profilaxis y exámenes complementarios como radiografías y hemograma completo con tiempo de coagulación y sangría, siempre cuidando la bioseguridad del entorno en el que se intervenir, con campos operatorios estériles como medida de barrera de protección tanto para el paciente como para el operador y el ayudante, todo material e instrumental que se vaya a utilizar debe estar debidamente estéril. El manejo postoperatorio es de vital importancia al momento de solucionar el problema estético que el paciente manifiesta luego de una exodoncia en sector de incisivos, es muy importante tener ya lista una prótesis parcial removible o si el paciente tenía antes de la cirugía una PPF se la debe volver a colocar, y controlar una posible infección o contaminación de la herida con antibióticos como medida protectora después de la cirugía, los puntos deben quedar muy bien ajustados para que no exista una pérdida de la sutura antes del tiempo establecido que debe permanecer en boca.
