Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación trata de demostrar que la extracción de terceros molares inferiores está directamente relacionada con el tratamiento de Ortodoncia, al ser un método esencial ya que evita un posible apiñamiento dental en pacientes que no presentan el espacio suficiente para su erupción, lo que traería como consecuencia un fracaso del tratamiento de ortodoncia debido a la fuerza eruptiva que presenta dicha pieza dentaria.
La extracción del tercer molar inferior por motivo de ortodoncia, deberá realizarse cuando se presenten discrepancias óseas dentarias, como ayuda al mantenimiento o retención de los resultados obtenidos en el tratamiento de ortodoncia o cuando se necesitan distalar los sectores posteriores de la arcada dentaria, por lo tanto es un método necesario y eficaz en el tratamiento de ortodoncia.
Por medio de una investigación bibliográfica, historia clínica, diagnóstico, tratamiento, evolución del tratamiento en un paciente, se demostrará el beneficio que se logra al realizar la extracción del tercer molar inferior cuando el tratamiento de ortodoncia lo amerita.
Así mismo cuando se obtengan los datos definitivos de esta investigación serán un aporte científico a la ciencia odontológica ya que se habrá demostrado que la extracción del tercer molar inferior es un método eficaz en el tratamiento de ortodoncia al no presentarse el espacio suficiente para su erupción evitando de esta manera un posible apiñamiento dental inferior.
This research attempts to show that the extraction of third molars is directly related to orthodontic treatment , being an essential method because it avoids a possible crowding in patients who do not have enough space for its eruption , which would result in a failure of orthodontic treatment because of the eruptive force having said tooth. The lower third molar extraction because of orthodontic tooth bone should be performed when discrepancies , as an aid to maintenance or retention of the results of orthodontic treatment when needed distalize or posterior areas of the dental arch is present , so is both a necessary and effective orthodontic treatment method. Through literature research , medical history , diagnosis, treatment, course of treatment in a patient, the profit that is made to perform the extraction of lower third molars when orthodontic treatment will prove warranted . Likewise when the final data obtained from this research will be a scientific contribution to dental science as it will have shown that the extraction of lower third molars is an effective method in orthodontic treatment by not showing enough space for its eruption avoiding thus a possible lower crowding.
