Resumen
Este Trabajo de Investigación tiene por enfoque el estudio de la tecnología 5G, el impacto que tendrá en el país y los cambios que se generarán al momento de ser implementada, de tal manera que los usuarios se informen acerca de los beneficios y de lo que ofrece esta tecnología a futuro ya que proporcionara un enorme valor para los consumidores y la industria en general, además de la perspectiva de poseer más velocidad que las existentes tecnologías. Para este proceso se realizó una investigación de campo, además se realizó una encuesta a los estudiantes de los últimos semestres de la carrera de ingeniería en teleinformática de la Universidad de Guayaquil para poder saber cuáles serían los cambios que ellos requieren o esperan que se den con la implementación de una nueva tecnología en el país, al finalizar la investigación de campo se obtuvo como resultado que los usuarios desean que mejore la cobertura a lo largo del país, el tiempo de carga y de descarga de un archivo y esto se debe a que ellos le dan a su teléfono móvil el uso frecuente de estar en las redes sociales. Al finalizar se hace una comparativa de los factores que influyen a las operadoras y usuarios actualmente y lo que será en 5G.
This research work is focused on the study of 5G technology, the impact it will have in the country and the changes that will be generated at the time of implementation, so that users can be informed about the benefits and what it offers. This technology in the future as it will provide enormous value for consumers and the industry in general, beside the prospect of having more speed than existing technologies. For this process, a field investigation was carried out, in addition a survey was conducted to the students of the last semesters of the career of Engineering in teleinformatics of the University of Guayaquil in order to be able to know what changes they would require or expect to occur with the implementation of a new technology in the country, at the end of the field research it was obtained as a result that users want to improve the coverage throughout the country, the uploading and downloading time of a file and this is due to the fact that they give their mobile phone the frequent use of being on social networks. At the end, it has been made a comparison of the factors that influence the operators and users currently and what will be in 5G.
