Resumen
Este trabajo de tesis se realizará con el objetivo de medir el uso pleno que se le
da a este espacio que se encuentra recientemente equipado, el cual se
encuentra ubicado en Chongón, en el área identificada como Turística de la
Represa, según el Plan de Usos de Suelos del sector. Chongón posee
suficientes recursos turísticos y atractivos naturales como para ser considerado
un polo local para el desarrollo turístico.
En el presente trabajo de investigación se busca redefinir, mediante una
descripción profunda y detallada, los atractivos y recursos turísticos de esta
franja, los cuales deben ser reconocidos y valorados por la comunidad, con el
fin de incrementar la oferta turística que satisfaga la demanda creciente de
sitios de recreación y esparcimiento en la Provincia del Guayas. Mediante la
redefinición de los atractivos y los recursos turísticos, se podrá ampliar las
opciones para la selección de sitios turísticos.
