Covid-19 en el personal de enfermeria y sus repercusiones psicologicas posteriores a la enfermedad

Resumen
La pandemia por COVID-19 ha generado un impacto mundial a nivel sanitario, económico y social. Enfermería, al formar parte de la primera línea de batalla contra la pandemia está en riesgo inminente de contagio; además de encontrarse expuestos a la incertidumbre y el estrés que conlleva las adversidades de atención hospitalaria. El objetivo general del estudio es describir las repercusiones psicológicas que se presentan posterior a la enfermedad en el personal de enfermería. El método que se aplica es el inductivo y holístico, de tipo fenomenológico y con enfoque cualitativo, la técnica utilizada para la recolección de datos es la entrevista; la misma que se ejecutó al personal de enfermería del Centro de Salud Materno Infantil “Francisco Jácome”. Como resultados se obtuvo que el sujeto de estudio manifestó haber experimentado consecuencias a nivel psicológico posteriores al COVID-19 como miedo, ansiedad, depresión, angustia y frustración. Presenciar escenarios impactantes, no contar con el equipo de bioseguridad necesario, el transcurso propio de la enfermedad, a esto sumado la sobrecarga de trabajo, repercute en la salud de este grupo de profesionales sanitarios. En el presente trabajo de investigación, se concluye que el personal de enfermería al infectarse presentó repercusiones psicológicas posteriores a la enfermedad; esto ha generado grandes consecuencias en el ámbito laboral, pero es de suma importancia mencionar que enfermería a lo largo de su formación profesional ha desarrollado mecanismos de afrontamiento, los cuales ayudan a superar experiencias traumáticas. Es significativo recalcar la importancia de mantener una adecuada salud física y mental, para poder ejercer el arte del cuidado, y desarrollar cada uno de los roles de enfermería.
The COVID-19 pandemic has generated a global health, economic and social impact. Nursing, being part of the front line of battle against the pandemic is at imminent risk of contagion; in addition to being exposed to the uncertainty and stress that entails the adversities of hospital care. The general objective of the study is to describe the psychological repercussions that occur after the disease in the nursing staff. The method that is applied is the inductive and holistic, phenomenological type and with a qualitative approach, the technique used for data collection is the interview; the same that was performed to the nursing staff of the maternal and Child Health Center “Francisco Jácome”. As results it was obtained that the study subject reported having experienced psychological consequences after COVID-19 such as fear, anxiety, depression, anguish and frustration. Witnessing shocking scenarios, not having the necessary biosecurity equipment, the course of the disease itself, in addition to the overload of work, has an impact on the health of this group of health professionals. In the present research work, it is concluded that the nursing staff when infected presented psychological repercussions after the disease; this has generated great consequences in the workplace, but it is of utmost importance to mention that nursing throughout its professional training has developed coping mechanisms, which help to overcome traumatic experiences. It is significant to emphasize the importance of maintaining adequate physical and mental health, in order to exercise the art of care, and to develop each of the nursing roles.
