| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación se encuentra enfocado en resolver la problemática existente en los procedimientos contables de la Institución Cancerol S.A, que es un hospital que se encuentra ubicado en la ciudad de Guayaquil, en el que se ha determinado que existen falencias en el control interno del departamento contable, es necesario evaluar las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades, amenazas y cualquier otro tipo de dificultades en los procedimientos que se lleven a cabo en dicha institución. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron la observación directa la cual se complementa mediante un enfoque cualitativo para la descripción de las características del problema, las entrevistas al personal interno y profesionales externos que cuentan con una trayectoria y experiencia en temas contables, también se realizaron encuestas a los empleados del área sujeto a estudio el cual ha sido complementado por un enfoque cuantitativo correspondiente a la tabulación de los resultados, lo que se propone es el diseño de un manual de políticas contables donde se establecen directrices, medios y recursos que va a mejorar la calidad de información de los estados financieros y de las actividades realizadas en el área contable. Adicionalmente se considera que este manual sería un aporte positivo que generaría como resultado la satisfacción del personal y el cumplimiento de los objetivos de la institución | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This research work is focused on solving the existing problems in the accounting procedures of the institution Cancerol S.A, which is a hospital that is located in the city of Guayaquil, which has been determined that there are flaws in internal control of the accounting department, it is necessary to evaluate the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, threats and any other type of difficulties in the procedures that are carried out in said institution. The techniques used were direct observation which is complemented by a qualitative approach for the description of the characteristics of the problem, interviews with internal staff and external professionals who have a background and experience in accounting issues, employee surveys were also conducted of the area subject to study which has been complemented by a quantitative approach corresponding to the tabulation of the results, what is proposed is the design of a manual of accounting policies where guidelines, means and resources are established that will improve the quality of information on the financial statements and activities carried out in the accounting area. Additionally, it is considered that this manual would be a positive contribution that would generate as a result the satisfaction of the personnel and the fulfillment of the objectives of the institution | es_ES |
