dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación trata de demostrar que para la extracción del tercer molar superior existen indicaciones y contraindicaciones, las cuales son de gran importancia tener en conocimiento para evitar los diferentes tipos de complicaciones que se pueden presentar, al momento del acto quirúrgico de la extracción del tercer molar superior. Teniendo en cuenta que la extracción del tercer molar superior está indicada en pacientes que presentan ausencia de espacio en la arcada dentaria sin que dicha pieza pueda hacer su erupción normal y fisiológica, pacientes que presenten algún tipo de patología relacionada al tercer molar, pacientes con presencia de quistes o tumores odontogènicos relacionados al tercer molar, o debido a indicaciones de un tratamiento de ortodoncia. A su vez está contraindicada en pacientes que presentan compromiso médico importante, pacientes que hayan tenido el tercer molar incluido por años que no le haya originado ningún tipo de complicación y cuando existe el riesgo de causar lesiones a estructuras adyacentes, siempre evaluando el beneficio o el prejuicio que le podemos ocasionar al paciente. Por medio de una investigación bibliográfica, historia clínica, diagnóstico, tratamiento y la evolución del tratamiento en un paciente se demostrara, la importancia de tener el conocimiento acerca de las indicaciones y contraindicaciones de la extracción del tercer molar superior para evitar complicaciones que se pueden presentar durante la intervención quirúrgica. Así mismo cuando se obtengan los datos definitivos de esta investigación serán un aporte científico a la ciencia odontológica ya que al tener el conocimiento acerca de las indicaciones y contraindicaciones de la extracción del tercer molar superior se evitarían los diferentes tipos de complicaciones que se puedan presentar al momento del acto quirúrgico o posterior a este.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe present research work is to show that there are upper third molar extraction indications and contraindications , which are of great importance to have knowledge to prevent different types of complications that can occur at the time of surgery extraction upper third molar . Given that the removal of the upper third molar is indicated in patients who have no space in the dental arch without that part can do its normal physiological rash, patients with any medical condition related to the third molar , patients with presence odontogenic cysts or tumors related to third molar , or due to indications of orthodontic treatment . A turn is contraindicated in patients with significant medical compromise, patients who have had the third molar for years that has not caused any complication and when there is a risk of injury to adjacent structures , always assessing the benefit or prejudice that can lead to the patient. Through literature research , medical history , diagnosis, treatment and outcome of treatment was demonstrated in a patient , the importance of knowledge about the indications and contraindications for removal of maxillary third molar to avoid complications that may arise during surgery . Likewise when the final data obtained from this research will be a scientific contribution to dental science and that having knowledge about the indications and contraindications for upper third molar extraction of different types of complications that may arise to be avoided time of surgery or after this event.es_ES
