| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Dyslalia is defined as a language alteration, which usually occurs with great frequency in infants with an age range between 5 to 12 years and in the variety of cases this problem usually remains until adulthood if it is not treated in In due course, the difficulties that are brought about with this type of language disorders trigger severe consequences of which we can mention bullying, discrimination, learning difficulty, in order to obtain a diagnosis of patients suffering from these disorders, we proceeded to the development of a dyslalia diagnosis algorithm, which will have as its main objective to read the dataset entries which will contain the speech therapy files made to the patients and thus be able to determine in which phoneme and in which position these dyslalia problems lie. This need for implementation is due to the fact that in Guayaquil there are very few therapeutic centers that help treat these types of disorders and because of their high cost of consultation, which prevents children from completing the treatments they have started. For the development of the algorithm, interviews were conducted with speech therapist specialists and data from the speech therapy files were also collected to be able to adapt them and thus have a correct diagnosis, the Python programming language was also used and according to the research carried out and the selected algorithms, the rule-based one was better positioned and easier to apply, with it a great precision was obtained compared to the other algorithms consulted. Finally, the conclusions are shown where they indicate the results obtained by the dyslalia diagnosis algorithm, where from these results the speech therapist specialist can have a clearer notion and thus be able to decide what treatment can be applied to the patient evaluated. | es_ES |
