Evaluar el comportamiento agronómico de doce cultivares de maní arachis hypogaea L. tipo runner

| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se la realizó en el recinto San José de Las Peñas” del cantón Rocafuerte, localizada geográficamente a 01°02’08’’ de Latitud Sur, y a 80° 27’02” de Longitud Oeste, con una altitud de 13 msnm según datos de la Estación Meteorológica de Portoviejo, la cual tuvo como objetivo general evaluar el comportamiento agronómico de 12 cultivares de maní tipo Runner en el Valle del Rio Portoviejo, para ello se utilizaron tipos de maní Runner, Caramelo, Caramelo Negro, Caramelo Mejorado, Caramelo Pepón, Caramelo Local, Caramelo Rojo, S-24-10-8, Caramelo Overo, INIAP-380, INIAP-382, INIAP 383 y un testigo local conocido como Crema. Para esta investigación se utilizó un diseño estadístico de Bloques completamente al Azar (DBCA), con 12 tratamientos y tres repeticiones, registrando un total de 36 unidades experimentales. Donde los resultados obtenidos determinaron que la altura de planta el cultivar S-24-10-8 reportó la mayor altura de planta con 15,16 y en ramas por planta, los cultivares de maní tipo Runner las variedades Caramelo local y Caramelo rojo con 28,53 vainas por planta y en la longitud de vaina Caramelo Overo con 4,05 cm. En las semillas por vaina Caramelo mejorado con 2,73 semillas por vaina, reportó el mayor valor y en el peso de 100 semillas, los cultivares S-24-10-8 y Caramelo Rojo con 28,66 gramos en 100 semillas. En el rendimiento de semilla en kilogramos por hectárea Caramelo Pepón con 1.567 kg por hectárea registró la mayor producción. Mientras que en el cálculo de presupuesto parcial y de tratamientos no dominados donde el cultivar S-24-10-8 obtuvo un beneficio neto de USD 1066.50 y un costo variable de USD 21,00 que reflejó una Tasa de Retorno Marginal (TRM) de 3.470%, por ello la recomienda en el cantón Rocafuerte, la utilización de este cultivar en época seca | es_ES |
