| dc.description.abstract | La caries dental es una de las enfermedades más comunes en el hombre. Esta enfermedad infecciosa, comúnmente crónica y multifactorial, se establece en la cavidad bucal mucho tiempo antes de producirse las manifestaciones clínicas de la misma, Cuando se realiza un diagnóstico predictivo, es importante obtener información acerca de los factores etiológicos de la caries bajo el concepto multifactorial. Los factores etiológicos principales involucrados en el establecimiento de la enfermedad son: un huésped susceptible, microorganismos cariogénicos, una dieta rica en sacarosa, la saliva y el tiempo en que interactúan estos factores. Otros numerosos factores biológicos deben ser tenidos en cuenta ya que pueden favorecer la instalación de la enfermedad, conocidos como factores secundarios. Entre ellos, tenemos: la educación, la posición social y la ocupación del paciente. Otro punto a tener en cuenta es el conocimiento, la actitud y la conducta frente a esta enfermedad. Los factores etiológicos principales y secundarios actualmente planteados intervienen conjuntamente y desencadenan esta enfermedad multifactorial. El objetivo del presente trabajo es argumentar sobre los factores etiológicos que favorecen el proceso de la caries dental para prevenir perdidas dentales en la población en especial de niños y adolescentes. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The dental cavity is one of the illnesses more comunes in the man. This infectious, commonly chronic illness and multifactorial, buccal a lot of time settles down in the cavity before taking place the clinical manifestations of the same one, When he/she is carried out a diagnostic predictivo, it is important to obtain information about the etiologic factors of the low cavity the concept multifactorial. The main etiologic factors involved in the establishment of the illness are: a susceptible guest, microorganisms cariogénicos, a rich diet in sucrose, the saliva and the time in that interactúan these factors. Other numerous biological factors should be kept since in mind they can favor the installation of the illness, well-known as secondary factors.
