Aplicación de Escala de Ripasa en el diagnóstico de abdomen agudo

dc.description.abstractIntroducción: El abdomen agudo por apendicitis es una patología de tipo inflamatoria, que necesita un pronto diagnóstico pues su resolución es quirúrgica y evitar las complicaciones que se presenten por diagnóstico tardío, sabemos que predomina en el sexo masculino, está presente en todas las edades. Materiales Y Métodos: Se realizó un estudio retrospectivo con enfoque cuantitativo tipo observacional analítico y descriptivo. Sobre pacientes que ingresaron con diagnóstico de abdomen agudo en el área de emergencia del hospital Luis Vernaza en el periodo de enero a diciembre del 2018. Resultados: La muestra de este estudio fue de 778 pacientes de los cuales 593 cumplían los criterios de inclusión, se aplicó la escala de Ripasa en estos pacientes, mostrando que 457 pacientes dieron positivo para Apendicitis Aguda con un puntaje de Ripasa > a 7.5. Conclusión: En este estudio la aplicación de la escala de Ripasa mostró ser un recurso adecuado para un diagnóstico precoz de apendicitis aguda. Recomendaciones: Debe considerase es uso de la escala de Ripasa en el área de emergencia de los hospitales en los casos de abdomen agudo para diagnostico precoz de apendicitis aguda.es_ES
dc.description.abstractIntroduction: Acute abdomen due to appendicitis is a pathology of an inflammatory type, which needs an early diagnosis because its resolution is surgical and to avoid the complications that arise due to late diagnosis, we know that it predominates in the male sex, it is present in all ages. Materials And Methods: A retrospective study was carried out with an analytical and descriptive observational quantitative approach. About the patient who was admitted with a diagnosis of acute abdomen in the emergency area of the Luis Vernaza Hospital in the period from January to December 2018. Results: The sample of this study was of 778 patients of which 593 met the inclusion criteria, the Ripasa scale was applied in these patients, showing that 457 patients tested positive for Acute Appendicitis with a Ripasa score> 7.5. Conclusion: In this study, the application of the Ripasa scale proved to be an adequate resource for an early diagnosis of acute appendicitis. Recommendations: It should be considered the use of the Ripasa scale in the emergency area of hospitals in cases of acute abdomen for early diagnosis of acute appendicitis.es_ES
