dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio se da por la necesidad de mejorar la Calidad de atención a los pacientes Geriátricos que acuden a la Unidad de Salud Santiago de Guayaquil, debido a que se ve afectada por el gran inconveniente que tienen para acceder a una consulta que les permita llevar un seguimiento continuo debido a la problemática que existe con los sistemas de salud que retrasan la atención de los mismos disminuyendo por ende su calidad vida. Este estudio se hizo posible a través de encuestas semi-cerradas las cuales se realizó a pacientes con enfermedades crónicas del grupo etario mayores de 65 años; para dicho estudio se tomó en consideración la población atendida en el tercer trimestre del año en curso, y cuyo objetivo es investigar la percepción de los mismos a fin de determinar la satisfacción o insatisfacción de la atención brindada por los departamentos por los cuales tuvieron que pasar hasta llegar a la consulta médica y el tiempo transcurrido desde que llego a la unidad de salud hasta ser atendido. Para lo cual se pretende realizar un análisis de las causas que producen estos dificultades determinando los factores relacionados y los efectos que producirán en la población geriátrica retrasando así los controles subsecuentes, el aumento y/ o agravante de la salud de los mismos. De esta manera surge la idea de realizar un Protocolo de Atención que ayude a mitigar las demoras en la atención en salud de acuerdo a las manifestaciones presentadas. La metodología empleada fue la cualitativa, cuyo universo y muestra fue de 100 pacientes mediante un estudio de caso que permitió recoger las características principales en las que se debe actuar e intervenir con la propuesta mencionada; resolver la problemática priorizando los derechos de los adultos mayores a fin de alcanzar un logro del bienestar. Por ende se pretende por medio del Protocolo de salud la creación de un sistema de Agendamiento interno (SAI) que regule las consultas y el tiempo en que son atendidos nuestros pacientes geriátricos para asignación de consultas posteriores.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe present study is due to the need to improve the quality of care for Geriatric patients who come to the Health Unit Santiago de Guayaquil, because it is affected by the great inconvenience they have to access a consultation that allows them to take A continuous monitoring due to the problematic that exists with the health systems that delay the attention of the same diminishing therefore their quality life. This study was made possible through semi-closed surveys, which were performed on patients with chronic diseases of the age group over 65 years; For this study, the population served in the third quarter of the current year was taken into account and its objective is to investigate their perception in order to determine the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of the care provided by the departments through which they had to go through Until arriving at the medical consultation and the time that has elapsed since arriving at the health unit until it is attended to. The aim is to analyze the causes of these difficulties by determining the factors involved and the effects they will produce in the geriatric population, thus delaying subsequent controls, increasing and / or aggravating their health. In this way, the idea arises of making a Protocol of Attention that helps to mitigate the delays in health care according to the manifestations presented. The methodology used was the qualitative one, whose universe and sample was of 100 patients through a case study that allowed collecting the main characteristics in which it is necessary to act and to intervene with the mentioned proposal; solve the problem by prioritizing the rights of the elderly in order to achieve a well-being. Therefore, through the Health Protocol, the creation of an Internal Scheduling System (IAS) that regulates the consultations and the time in which our geriatric patients are treated for the assignment of subsequent consultations.es_ES
